Plenty of the seat covers offered on carXS include pre-cut holes or opening. Often these are universal, with elastic to tighten or hook/loop to close. If this is the case, check our the first video. Otherwise, custom cutting is required so skip down to the "Cutting" Section.
Cutting for the Headrest:
- Remove the Headrest
- Install the Cover Normally
- Identify the location of the headrest slot holes
- Make small incisions, followed by two slits making a "X". Try and keep this slits between half an inch and 1 inch in length
- Tuck the material under the headrest guide. This creates a tight, custom-fit look
- Put the headrest back on
